SHIPPING POLICY

At Detail Shack, we ship fast and reliably across South Africa. You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your order leaves our facility.

• Dispatch: Orders placed Mon–Fri before 12:00 are usually dispatched the same or next business day.
• Delivery: Main centres 1–3 business days; outlying/remote areas 2–5 business days.
• Shipping fees: Free on orders ≥ R750. 
• Coverage: We currently ship within South Africa only.
• Payment on delivery: Not available (no COD).

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors like product availability, destination, courier capacity, public holidays, or weather.

RETURNS POLICY

We want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t right, our returns process is simple and fair, in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

1. Change-of-mind returns (14 days): Return unused, unopened items in original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
2. Condition: Items must be in resaleable condition with all labels and accessories. For safety/hygiene, opened or used chemicals can’t be returned unless defective.
3. Defective/damaged/incorrect (7 days): Report issues within 7 days of delivery with photos. We’ll repair, replace, or refund and cover the return courier where applicable.
4. Return shipping: For change-of-mind returns, you cover courier costs. For our error or defects, we cover it.
5. Refunds: Issued to the original payment method after inspection. Please allow 3–7 business days for processing (bank times may vary). Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
